We are YUANCHA.

Since our founding in China in 2012, we have rooted ourselves in the mountains, following the laws of nature, all for one pure wish: to let tea return to its original form.

Looking at the global market, we found too many artificial flavorings, heavy additives, and flashy, unsustainable packaging. Amidst all the noise, the original clean and calming taste of a natural tea leaf has somehow been lost.

What we want to build is a brand as genuine as an old friend. Our philosophy is based on a simple truth: when we take good care of the land, the land will reward us with unparalleled gifts.

To deliver this clean, natural flavor into your hands. We have spent 14 years in the tea mountains in China that produce the highest quality tea.

During these 14 years, we've trekked across the mountains of Yunnan for you. In those pesticide-free, organic tea gardens, we listen to the white noise of the wind blowing through the leaves, watching the ecology here slowly thrive.

We've visited heritage tea factories hidden deep in the mountains. Working alongside veteran craftsmen, we use the most basic, slowest hand-crafting methods passed down for centuries—interfering with the tea as little as possible to preserve its original aroma.

We've also built the most professional tea cellars right at the source, allowing the tea to age quietly inside. Before leaving the warehouse, every single batch must pass the incredibly strict taste test of a national-level tea master.

Behind the scenes, we've quietly done all the unglamorous, painstakingly patient heavy lifting.

Why do we do all this?

Because life is complicated enough; drinking tea shouldn't be something that gives you stress.

You don't need to learn profound tea ceremonies, you don't need to worry about telling real from fake, and you don't need to listen to overly embellished stories. When you pick up your cup after a long day, it should simply be filled with a clean, good tea. No over-processing, no artificial shortcuts. Just the authentic flavor we brought out of the tea gardens, allowing you to drink with peace of mind and truly relax.

That's why at YUANCHA, we have set an almost stubborn rule: if we wouldn't proudly serve it to our own families, we will never ship it across the world to you.

Many industry insiders laugh at us, saying we simply don't know how to do business. We've poured almost all our money into contracting remote mountains in Yunnan, building climate-controlled professional cellars, and paying national-level tea masters. We are reluctant to spend money on massive billboard campaigns, nor do we have the extra budget to pay influencers to brag about us. We are probably the most marketing-illiterate, stubborn group of tea makers in the industry.

The "foolish" hard work that others refuse to do, we will do. We search the mountains for the finest teas and bring them straight to you, just so that when you take that sip from your cup, you can truly feel: this is the taste of nature!
