Green Tea
Features: Fresh and delicate, rich in antioxidants.
Steps:
1. Water Temp: 70°C–80°C (let boiled water cool for 3-5 mins).
2. Tea Amount: 1 tsp (5g) + 200ml water.
3. Brew Time: 1-2 mins, extend 30 sec per brew.
4. Tools: Glass cup or lidded bowl (gaiwan).
Tips:
Try cold brew: Steep in cold water for 4-8 hours! -
Black Tea
Features: Robust and full-bodied, perfect with milk or sugar.
Steps:
1. Water Temp: 90°C–95°C (cool boiled water 1 min).
2. Tea Amount: 1 tsp + 200ml water.
3. Brew Time: 3-5 mins.
Tips:
Add milk and sugar for classic milk tea, or make iced tea! -
White Tea
Features: Mellow and sweet with floral or honey notes.
Steps:
1. Water Temp: 80°C–85°C (cool boiled water 5-8 mins).
2. Tea Amount: 1.5 tsp (5g) + 200ml water.
3. Brew Time: 1-2 mins first brew, extend 30 sec after.
Tips:
Aged white tea can be boiled for richer flavor. -
Oolong Tea
Features: Semi-oxidized, with floral and roasted notes.
Steps:
1. Water Temp: 95°C–100°C (boiling water).
2. Tea Amount: Fill 1/3 of gaiwan (about 5g).
3. Brew Time: Rinse 5 sec first, then 20-30 sec per brew.
Tips:
High-quality oolong can be brewed 7-10 times. -
Pu-erh Tea
Features: Earthy and complex, improves with age.
Steps:
1. Water Temp: 100°C boiling water.
2. Tea Amount: 8g + 150ml water.
3. Steps: Rinse 5 sec first, then 10-20 sec per brew.
Tips:
Aged pu-erh can be boiled for deeper flavor. -

Use filtered water, clean tools regularly, and adjust to taste.
